Role Overview:

The Assistant Manager – Product Filing will play a crucial role in preparing and managing product filing documents in compliance with regulatory guidelines. This position requires close coordination with internal stakeholders and regulators to ensure timely filing, compliance, and launch of insurance products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare product filing documents aligned with prevailing regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for new product filings.
  • Maintain records of all filed and launched product documentation.
  • Prepare and submit reports to PMC (Product Management Committee) and IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India).
  • Ensure compliance with product filing regulations and approval processes.
  • Monitor competitor products and market launches closely for benchmarking.
  • Track and manage turnaround times (TAT) for product filings and launches, ensuring adherence to deadlines.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in insurance product filing and regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of IRDAI regulations and guidelines
  • Strong understanding of insurance product lifecycle and filing process
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in preparing regulatory reports and documentation
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage timelines and ensure timely filing and product launches
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
